ABOUT US
We believe that those in power must act boldly to dismantle institutional bias and longstanding barriers to access by authentically engaging with organizations already working within our communities. We are a coalition of elected officials and community-based organizations of color in San Mateo County united who are steadfast in dismantling systemic bias and long-standing barriers to access across our county. We invite all others committed to the principles of social justice, equity, and access to join us on this journey.

OUR GOALS

Commitment to targeted funding to support our most vulnerable communities with input from those communities on how funds are directed

County to continue to work on equity to address systemic inequities that have always existed in our county

Develop a diverse leadership pipeline to fill elected and appointed positions in all levels of government

Increase access to things needed to not just live but thrive in San Mateo County. Affordable housing, quality education, and jobs that pay a living wage.
